Darlington County Council has passed an ordinance on second reading changing the county’s small private development standards and add the limitation to a family division or to “where a common interest between grantor and grantee has been determined.”

Florence County Council will meet Thursday to vote on second reading of ordinances regarding an economic development project and hold a public hearing on the updated land-use element of the county’s comprehensive plan.

The Hartsville Planning Commission approved a request to allow a developer planning to renovate the former Lincoln Village Apartment complex to subdivide the property by building and sell individual pieces to investors on Tuesday.
