Pee Dee Academy teams take wins over Williamsburg Academy
After splitting with conference foe, Lake City’s Carolina Academy, just a day earlier, Pee Dee Academy’s baseball and softball teams welcomed another conference power, Kingstree’s Williamsburg Academy, to Mullins this past Friday night for a pair of crucial games.

Pee Dee teams go 0-for-3 in SCISA semifinals
For most of Thursday’s SCISA basketball Class 2A state semifinal, Pee Dee Academy coach Jerry Coleman thought his team was right where it needed to be. Unfortunately for Pee Dee, the last part of the fourth quarter was when some of the Eagles’ bad tendencies showed up.
Marion County basketball teams continue fight for titles
Three varsity basketball teams from Marion County continue to fight through playoffs for a title: The Pee Dee Academy girls, Marion High School girls and Mullins High School boys teams are playing either today or Saturday.

Monday’s tournament win puts Pee Dee Academy girls 23-5 for the year and pits them against either Thomas Sumter or First Baptist at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Sumter in the state playoffs.

Pee Dee Academy splits games with King’s Academy
On the day after Christmas, the Lady Golden Eagles will participate in the tournament at South Florence High School and will face defending 3A State Champion, Myrtle Beach in the opener at 3 p.m. When they return from the Christmas break, Pee Dee Academy’‘s boys will play Trintiy on Jan. 6 at home.
