Wednesday marks the two-year anniversary of the Ocean Isle Beach fire, that killed seven South Carolina college students.

It was a year ago that seven South Carolina college students died in a house fire in the worst disaster in the history of a North Carolina beach town.

FLORENCE — Almost seven months later, Rod Jernigan still fights back tears when he talks about Will Rhea. Rhea, along with six other college students, died in a house fire at Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., in the early morning hours of Oct. 28.
