The death of a missing Conway fisherman whose body was found in Lynches River near Johnsonville in December has been ruled accidental, according to the Florence County Coroner’s Office.

A Lamar man died Wednesday in Lynches River following a boating accident, Lee County Coroner Alford Elmore said. Randy Hall, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene about 8:30 p.m.

Local public safety officers still are searching for a 51-year-old fisherman from Conway who went missing Wednesday somewhere along Lynches River in Johnsonville.
