Undefeated Panthers baseball team to face Myrtle Beach
The undefeated Lake City High School varsity baseball team will travel to Myrtle Beach on Thursday and play host to the Seahakws on Friday at 6 p.m. The team took two wins over South Florence and Socastee last week to remain perfect on the season at 8-0 overall and 2-0 in Region VII-3A.

On Friday night against Swansea, Lake City looked like a team still feeling the effects of a near-collapse against Darlington on Tuesday. But the Panthers shook off their early rust in defeating Swansea 77-62 on Friday in the second of the Class 3A boys playoffs.
