FPI MB Entertainment LLC (FPI MBE) confirmed Monday that although it did not receive the expedited injunctive relief sought through the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware regarding claims of Steven J. Goodwin to some of the Park’s intellectual properties (IPs), it will proceed to rename and rebrand the Park’s attractions as deemed appropriate and as originally planned.

Park officials say they anticipate filling 750 to 1000 positions; however that number could go up as time goes on.

Dozens of those from the 2008 crew waited Monday morning outside in very chilly weather for their shot to rock again.  As of 3 p.m. Monday, there are 475 applications now on-file at the Park Recruitment Center, and 200 applications received on-line at CareerBuilder.com, according to a spokesperson with the park.

Work on Hard Rock Park will start immediately as the sale of Hard Rock Park was made final Thursday afternoon, according to officials with FPI MB Entertainment, LLC.

A spokesperson for the FPI MB Entertainment LLC group says the judge ordered the sale of Hard Rock Park to the group Tuesday afternoon. They are hoping to open by Memorial Day.

Theme park experts say the park needs a major overhaul to be successful, and that involves quickly pouring money into things such as new rides, a name change and aggressive marketing efforts.

When the park filed for bankruptcy in September, it left a long list of creditors.  And while many don’t expect to see the money they’re owed, they are excited about the possibility of new business.

She said it (Hard Rock Park) was a great idea, perhaps in the wrong place and definitely the wrong time.

In a slew of paperwork filed this week in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, a new investor group, called FPI MB Entertainment, LLC, is offering up to $25 million to purchase Hard Rock Park.
