Arrests made in Georgetown home invasion
Georgetown County Sheriff’s nvestigators have charged Tevin Jermal Palmer , 17, Roderick Taron Weaver, 20, Terrance Jermaine Palmer, 30, and 31-year-old Kevin Tyrone Palmer, 31, for a home invasion that occurred on the evening of October 13, 2009 at 380 Kearson Drive in the Knox Swamp Community of Georgetown County.
Three charged with stealing $42,000 worth of vases from Georgetown graves
More than 150 grave ornaments, worth more than $42,000, have been recovered at a local recycling center and three men have been charged with desecration of gravesites and grand larceny.

People in the Eastern Carolinas remember crash victims
The three victims who died in Friday’s Omniflight medical helicopter crash near Georgetown were all from the eastern Carolinas. The pilot, Patrick Walters of Murrells Inlet, flight paramedic Randolph “Claxton” Dove of Bladenboro and flight nurse Diana Conner of Florence died when the helicopter they were flying in crashed about one mile east of the Georgetown County Airport.
