GEORGETOWN—Police in Georgetown County captured a prisoner who escaped in Choopee Tuesday afternoon.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY - One person died early Sunday morning in a car accident in Georgetown County. The wreck happened at 12:15 am about 11 miles north of Andrews.
