Biker visit helps one local business raise money for Red Cross

A lot of bikers may have chosen not to ride around the City of Myrtle Beach but they definitely made their way to Jamin’ Leather in Surfside Beach.

Store employees auctioned off several items since Thursday to raise money for the victim of the recent wildfires and donate to the local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Business owners say rally turnout decent, could be better

By most accounts, the 2009 Harley-Davidson spring rally is slow for many businesses, vendors, and even bikers.  Harley-Davidson spokesman Mike Shank says the overall numbers are fair, but they should be much better than they are.
