Videos shot inside the Atlantic Beach Town Hall on two separate days show the town’s mayor, Retha Pierce, clearly broke trespassing and conduct laws, according to Atlantic Beach Police Chief Randy Rizzo.

In a video made public Thursday, Atlantic Beach Police said it clearly shows Atlantic Beach mayor Retha Pierce broke trespassing and conduct laws before police arrested her inside town hall on Jan. 29. Pierce filed a federal lawsuit against town leaders Wednesday.

Atlantic Beach mayor files federal suit against town officials
Atlantic Beach Mayor Retha Pierce is seeking a jury trial after filing a federal lawsuit this week. Pierce claims the police chief and town manager, among others, conspired together to prevent her from finding out about illegal behaviors they were all involved in.
