Small alligator moved to nearby swamp Tuesday

Darlington County Animal Control said the ten day observation period is up for the pitt bull Hartsville police said attacked a 12 year-old girl on June 11th.

Hartsville Police Depart-ment officers responded to a call at 1212 Myrtle St., which is Forest Ridge Apartments, and found a 12-year-old girl who had been bitten multiple times by a dog, Hartsville Police Chief Tim Kemp said Wednesday.

A pit bull attacked a 12-year-old Hartsville girl at about 9 a.m. this morning on Myrtle Street.
