Darlington County activates special needs shelter, EOC

DARLINGTON—Darlington County will activate their EOC at 4 p.m. today. This will include EMS, Fire, PIO, Law Enforcement, School District, Red Cross and DSS.

A Special Needs Shelter will open at McLeod’s Darlington Hospital at 4 p.m. Residents must already be pre-qualified through DHEC. If you have any question please call 1-800-476-3432.

Darlington County will open a Public Shelter at Darlington Middle School at 5 p.m. Any residents coming to the shelter please bring their medications, sleep gear-sleeping bags & pillows, Entertainment (games) for children, flashlight, toiletries, NO PETS, NO WEAPONS, NO ALCOHOL.
