State lawmakers have pre-filed some new bills that could generate controversy.
One bill is aimed at drivers who play their music so loud that it disturbs others.
Playing music that can be heard outside of your car could bring a fine of between $200 and $500.
Another bill would make it illegal for teenagers under 18 to drive between midnight and 6 a.m. unless a parent or guardian is with them.
There’s also an effort to add photos to voter registration cards.
And a bill that failed this year is back that would take a DNA sample from anyone arrested for a crime that carries a penalty of five years or more.
