Teen arrested in Robeson County homicide

A 15-year-old is in custody with the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice after investigators arrested him for homicide.
Robeson County Sheriff’s deputies said he is responsible for the shooting death of Dennis Locklear, 21, on Thursday.
Maj. Howard Branch told News13 the shooting happened on Spruce Lane in Shannon around 1:00 p.m, and stemmed from an argument between the two individuals.
The suspect’s name has not been released because he is a juvenile. No other arrests are expected in this case.
