Two women died and one man was taken to the hospital after a high speed crash in North Carolina.

Pembroke police Chief Dwayne Hunt said the crash happened at 11:04 p.m. Friday.  Hunt said Judy Miller, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, was driving at a high rate of speed on 3rd street when she crashed into two motorcycles.

Hunt said Virginia C. Locklear, 37, of Lumberton, NC and Marie D. Locklear, 49, of Pembroke, NC, died and another man was airlifted to Duke Medical Center.

Hunt said Miller suffered minor injuries and was treated at the hospital and then taken to the Robeson County detention center where she is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, assault with a deadly weapon by motor vehicle, and inflicting bodily injury.

Hunt said all three motorcycle riders were wearing helmets.  Hunt said officials have not yet determined how fast Miller was driving, but he said witnesses told them she was driving more than 100 miles an hour.

100 mph on a city street! well, i guess we can be sure that crazy driver will be doing serious time. Tragic for her as well as for the 3 riders ran over by her.
