Leatherman to be honored in Columbia

A Pee Dee state lawmaker will be honored tonight in Columbia. Senator Hugh Leatherman of Florence will be the guest of honor tonight as the Riley Institute at Furman University hosts the third annual David H. Wilkins Legislative Award Dinner.
According to a press release issued by Furman University, former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney will be the keynote speaker and Senator Leatherman will be given an award for his legislative leadership.
The event is being held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center at 7pm.
