‘Meet and Greet the Candidates’ event set
The Florence Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is sponsoring a “Meet and Greet the Candidates” event from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
The event will take place at Drs. Bruce & Lee Foundation Library, 509 S. Dargan St., Florence.

If the Florence mayoral candidates (WUKELA and PEARCE) are there, then so will I. I want to ask Mr Pearce why a former Democrat-turned-Independant has campaign signs up at the Florence Republican Party Headquarters on Cherokee rd near Dargan st. Go look for yourself.
I would like to know which candidate is going to make the City of Florence a City and clean up the corner of Cashua and Second Loop. The City limits should incorporate and have control of this area not the county. Instead of worrying about who says what, make a committment to change the City. Church Street is a disgrace as well as other areas. I have lived here now 11 years and I do not see any improvement until Mcleod buys the property.
