Horry County Republican Party responds to Governor Mard Sanford recent affair

We deeply regret the recent events surrounding Governor Mark Sanford and we ask Republicans and Democrats alike to keep the Sanford family in their prayers.

There seems to be a great deal of discussion concerning whether Governor Sanford should resign or remain in office for the balance of his term.  Whether the Governor resigns or stays is totally up to him and possibly the legislature. 

We are deeply saddened by the events surrounding the Governor in recent days, but Governor is only one of many-elected officials in this County, State, and Nation. 

The Horry County Republican Party has and will continue to focus on electing good conservatives to all these offices, who support the Republican ideals on all levels of government.  We would like to thank the good people of Horry County for their continued support of our Party and its Candidates.
