Former president’s brother to speak at Georgetown GOP meeting

GEORGETOWN - Edward Nixon, brother of President Richard Nixon, will speak about his new book, The Nixons: A Family Portrait, at a coffee on Thursday, May 28th at 10 am sponsored by the Waccamaw Neck Republican Club at Applewood’s House of Pancakes in Litchfield.

The public is invited and Nixon will sign books.

The Congressman Henry Brown Appreciation Barbeque is also Thursday from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, located at 2101 North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach.

This is a free event that’s open to the public, with free barbeque dinner and live entertainment.
