FMU to host panel on 2008 election

The Francis Marion University Department of Political Science and Geography will present “Beyond November 4: Challenges and Opportunities Facing the Next President” at 4 p.m. Thursday in Lowrimore Auditorium on the FMU campus.

This event, cosponsored by Pi Sigma Alpha and Pi Gamma Mu, will bring together scholars from FMU’s Departments of Political Science, Economics and Mass Communications to discuss both the 2008 election in South Carolina and the state of the world that the next president will inherit.
