LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Polling numbers in health care reform debate can be deceptive

In a letter published in the Morning News on Wednesday, the writer states that every poll shows that a majority of the public is opposed to a public option with regard to health care reform. This is not a true statement.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Inmates should be allowed to visit dying relatives

Please investigate why prisoners are not allowed to visit a loved one who is critically ill in the hospital and their dying wish is to see that prisoner before they die.

LETTER: Reader disappointed in election

I am writing this letter because I am very disappointed with the recent elections. I live in City Council District 1 and had not voted in the last two council elections because there was no one running against the current council member.
