During Darlington County Council’s Aug. 17 meeting, council curtailed the number of public meetings on its calendar with only one dissenting vote. That means the already crowded council chamber on School Street in Kingstree will possibly become even more so, meaning longer meetings and more intense debate, if that is possible.
