Obama Tax PlanFor more than 700 days, the country listened to the many presidential candidate tax plan proposals. But, the game of politics can cloud the message.
Now, we know the winning plan is Barak Obama’s. Of course the plan is subject to change before approval.
In Election Day exit polls, 62% of voters said the economy is the top issue. The housing crunch and the credit crunch, paired with thousands of jobs lost since the beginning of the year have Americans wondering how to afford the monthly bills.
Not in the recent past has a tax proposal meant so much to the majority. So here’s how the Obama proposal breaks down as of now based on income levels:
- If you make less than $19,000—Saves $567 dollars.
- $19,000 to $37,600—Saves $892 dollars.
- $37,600 to $66,400—Saves $1118 dollars.
- $66,400-$111,600—Saves $1264.
- $111,600- $161,000—Saves $2135.
- $161,000- $227,000—Saves $2796.

When someone asked my origin I tell them I am Heinz 57 Sauce - meaning a little of everything - kinda like “mutt” I guess. I joke alot and even at times claim to have “redneck” ways about myself. This election has made history and is in God’s hands not ours. What concerns me is that most even maybe majority of the people voted by race. I had concerns with both sides but Obama is who we are speaking of so here are my concerns.
1 - Should anyone be President and leader of our military without ever serving? I don’t think so yet we have had several who have.
2 - The connections that Obama has seems to concern to me.
3 - Is he black? Isn’t Muslim his background? Would you call an Hawaiian an Indian because of skin tone and dark silky hair?
Color aside lets look at the man. He is well educated and has a well educated wife. He loves his family and is family oriented. He talks a good talk and seems sincere. To come we will find out more of his character and I will pray for him and his family daily as he takes on a great responsibilty. As far as cleaning up a mess I am afraid this mess goes back much farther than either Bush. Four years is not enough time to clean this up but I do know that as a nation we have to stop creating funds that are not in hand and companies need to take responsibility for the mess that is created by these ‘made up funds’. I may or may not have voted for Obama but I will respect him and his family and he will have my full support not my critcism because you see I am American and I will pat my American brothers on their backs and encourage them to a good life be them red white or blue!
Mrs. Marion thank you for saying what I wanted to say clearly. These people keep saying they are not racist and have unknown facts about President Obama. Trucker person please google his name since you have a computer and there you will find out the facts. And again I’m a veteran. I served in the Army ten years as a medical specialist. And I do not agree with the war. So I can talk. Thank you so much. 2008 some of you still admit to being a racist and some are in denial. And again Obama is not responsible for what sin someone else commit. He is the President not god. So you people have to understand when it comes to a sin you or no one is responsible to getting the gays, people who have abortions into heaven. They will see god at the pearlie gates and he will be responsible. Not Obama. Excuse me President OBAMA!! The commandments states what sins are sins. It did not state that the president is responsible if the people in the world commits the sin. AND he is not a MUSLIM!! Look it up!!
It is surely a shame that here we are in 2008 and there are still so many racist people here in my hometown of SC. I am almost ashamed to say I am from here. For some of you that “keep” getting it wrong, President Elect Obama is a Christian. He is not Muslim but even if he were, so what? The majority of the people in Marion County voted for him. I firmly believe that he will go in and do the right thing. Whether you like it or not, he is going to be the next President. He will not be President for just black people but for all people in the USA. If your main problem is that he is black, you are the one who will have issues for at least the next 4 years. And then to condemn him because of his beliefs about abortion and you are racist. A sin is a sin period. Do you think you will be among the people God takes back with him and you’re racist? If you do, you are sadly mistaken. You need to pray and ask God for forgiveness for being so ignorant.

I unlike u that was a typing error calling Obama lord. I have a couple errors in what I was saying. First of all Im a 10 year veteran. US ARMY!! And if anyone would agree of us going to war for what happen during 9/11 I would. But when Bush did not allow anyone to fly on the air lines but BIN LADINS family I question that. U see we went there for him not Saddam Hussein. See Bush was getting revenge for his father I know it and u know it as well. So many people are critical of President Obama. He is the new president respect that and stop waiting for him to fail. You guys put your faith in Bush. Look at what President Obama has to clean up after Bush put us in so much turmoil. And majority of you guys voted for him especially in S.Carolina. Bush that is. The best man won. His plan is most likely going to be another unfulfilled promise. We should pray that he puts duty, honor, and country before himself.
