Two raids in Darlington County nets drugs, guns, cash, more

Items seized in a Darlington County raid in Lamar Friday morning.

The Darlington County Combine Drug Unit along with the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, raid two locations at the same time in Lamar Friday morning in search of drugs.

One bust happened on Cartersville Hwy in Lamar. Arrested at this location was Clyde McClain Jr. he was charged with PWID Marijuana PWID crack cocaine, distribution of counterfeit DVDs.

Siezed from the house was nearly a pound of marijuana, 2.7 grams of crack cocaine, $500.00 in cash, 4 vehicles, two utility trailers, three guns, and Counterfeit DVDs.

McClain is in jail awaiting bond.

The second bust happened on Grooms Drive in Lamar where officers recovered stolen items.

Agents went to the house looking for drugs but found stolen items there instead.

Agents found items ranging from presser washers and other tools to a moped and four-wheeler.

Agents also seized two pit bulls a male and a female that where mal nourished and being miss treated.

Animal control was call to retrieve the dogs. Agents also found a small amount of marijuana in the house. 

Moses Shaw was arrested and charged with possessions of stolen goods, simple possessions of marijuana, cruelty to animals.

Shaw is in jail awaiting bond.

dana you are probably correct it will take someone to bust a cap on there sorry a—es to to make them stop.Good point I will sign up to take a shot if they come my way.

Wonder how long it will take before they’re back on the streets stealing and selling drugs again…? A month maybe? They’ll be out on bond soon and not long after that paper headlines will read,“Man arrested for murder, was out on bond”.
KEEP THEIR BUTTS IN JAIL!!! If they show up at my house to steal I’m gonna shoot first and ask questions later.

saywhat thanks for the good question I think in this case the power washer is worth around 3 to 5 years.

They should bust more crack houses and legalize pot! What I really want to know though is just how much is a “presser washer” worth???
