A train derailment in downtown Mullins has several streets blocked off, including Main Street.
Mullins City Administrator Pete Rogers said 11 train cars from the Carolina Southern Railroad Company derailed early Monday morning along Mullins Street.
The accident shutdown portions of Park Street and Main Street in Mullins.
Rogers said the company based out of Chadbourn N.C. is sending a crew to clean up the wreckage as the train is being pulled to open roadways.
