Society Hill man dies in accident

The Darlington County Coroner’s office says a man died in an accident Saturday.
It happened at about 9 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway 52 and Leavensworth Road.
The coroner’s office says 22-year-old David Brown was driving, when his vehicle ran head-on into a tractor-trailer.
Authorities say Brown died as a result of the accident, and a passenger in his vehicle was taken to the hospital and is now in serious but stable condition.
The coroner’s office says the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
