Rescues to have joint pet adoption in Florence

The Second Chance K9 Rescue and the Carolina Kitties Rescue will join forces Saturday for a pet adoption from noon until 4 p.m. at Pet Lovers Warehouse at 931 S. Irby St., Florence.

The Second Chance K9 Rescue of the Pee Dee will have dogs and puppies available. The animals will have been bathed, and each dog will go home with a lead and a small starter bag. Photographs of dogs available for adoption can be viewed at http://www.Petfinder.com. Once on the site, click on “Shelters” and, on the drop-down menu, select “list by state,” enter “South Carolina” and “Florence, then click on “Go.”

The Caroline Kitties Rescue will have kittens and cats available. The cats are up-to-date on vaccinations, FeLV tested negative, treated against fleas and altered if they are old enough.
