Receptions set for Florence 5 superintendent candidates

Members of the Florence School District 5 Board of Trustees invite the public to meet the finalists for the Johnsonville-based school district’s next superintendent.

Receptions will be at 5 p.m. Monday through April 6 in the media center of Johnsonville Middle School, 415 Maple Ave., Johnsonville.

Dr. D. John Morris, chief student services director at Guilford County Schools in Greensboro, N.C., will be present at Monday’s reception.

Dr. F. Jane Cobia, superintendent of Sylacauga City Schools in Sylacauga, Ala., will be at the April 7 reception.

Fay Sprouse, superintendent of Greenwood 51 School District in Ware Shoals, will be present for the April 8 reception.
