Pamplico school district announces food program

Florence School District 2 has announced its policy for free and reduce-price meals for children served in its schools under the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program.

Under the provisions of the policy, Johnnis Tanner, will review applications and determine eligibility. Parents who want to make a formal appeal make make a request orally or in writing to superintendent Robert E. Sullivan Jr. at 2121 S. Pamplico Highway, Pamplico, for a hearing. Hearing procedures are outlined in the policy.

In accordance with federal law and USDA policy, the district is prohibited for discrmininating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
