Pamplico man charged with first degree burglary

The Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of first degree burglary.

Antonio Beach,19, of 224 East Shirley Road in Pamplico is charged with first-degree burglary, carjacking,and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

According to a Florence County Sheriff’s Office press release, Beach struck someone in the head with a pistol in the Tara Village area in Florence County on Thursday, March 12.

After striking the victim in the head, Beach attempted to chase the victim into a home but the victim slammed the door, preventing Beach from entering.

Beach then kicked in the victim’s door, stole the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene.

Beach later returned to the victim’s home a short time later and assaulted the victim again.

Beach remains behind bars at the Florece County Detention Center.
