Nolte joins Star & Enterprise as staff writer

The Marion Star & Mullins Enterprise has recently hired Steffani Nolte as a staff writer.

Nolte comes to Marion County from Cambridge, Minn.

She is a graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where she got degrees in Print Media and Electronic Media.

“This is a great opportunity for me to get experience doing a little bit of everything, from writing to photography to online reporting.  I am excited to learn more about the community and the issues that are important to the community members,” Nolte said.

Before joining the Marion Star & Mullins Enterprise, Nolte worked at Wartburg Television as a production assistant and news director.  She also worked as the online editor of her college’s newspaper, The Trumpet.

“Steffani is an intelligent young reporter and her early experience as a journalist is profound,” Star & Enterprise Editor Naeem Mcfadden said. 

Nolte has interned at KWWL-TV, KCRG-TV and CBS Network Radio during the Republican National Convention.
