The victim gave the suspects his wallet and the two men fled in a burgundy Ford Taurus toward the North Carolina state line, according to the report.

A short time later, North Carolina authorities stopped the car the victim described in Rowland, N.C., and arrested Tavoasio Levon Smith, 19, of Lumberton, N.C., and Malcolm Jamall Brown, 20, of Litlonia, Ga. A 16-year-old male from Lumberton was also taken into custody. All three remain in custody in North Carolina. Dillon County Sheriff’s deputies plan
