Hartsville woman faces prostitution charge

A Hartsville woman was arrested Thursday for prostitution, Hartsville Police Chief Tim Kemp said.

Christine Renee Vinson, 41, of 844 S. Sixth St., was taken into custody Thursday night, Darlington County Detention Center booking reports show.

Several detectives saw the woman get into a vehicle with a man at about 7 p.m., Kemp said.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and questioned the suspect and the driver. The information they obtained was enough to make an arrest, he said.

Vinson was released from jail that same day after posting a a $1,092.50 personal recognizance bond.
