H1N1 vaccines available in Florence

FirstChoice Healthcare PC is one of the selected sites in the Pee Dee chosen as a distribution site for the H1N1 vaccinations.

The vaccine, which arrived Wednesday, will be available Thursday beginning at 8 a.m. Both intranasal spray and shots will be administered.

Supplies are limited and shots will be given based on the pre-determined target groups as identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The maximum cost for either type vaccine will be $19.36 per dose.

All vaccinations will be administered at the main office, 1920 Second Loop Road, Florence. No appointment is necessary.
