Group seeks to provide holiday meals to needy

To Be Real For Women On The Move is seeking help to provide meals to needy families in the Pee Dee for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Group members are asking for contributions and support to make the effort a success. They are working with churches, schools and other organizations within the Pee Dee to help determine which families receive these holiday meals. Both meals will include a 12- to 14-pound turkey, rice, vegetables, stuffing, yams, cranberry sauce, rolls, cake and tea mix. The Thanksgiving meals will be delivered Nov. 23 and the Christmas meals, Dec. 21.

Cash contributions should be made payable to To Be Real For Women On The Move, P.O. Box 13586, Florence, SC 29504. Non-perishable items and/or canned goods will be picked up by calling Donna Capeheart at (843) 496-5354.
