Florence man arrested in Krispy Kreme burglary

A Florence man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the burglary of a local donut shop, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said.
Anthony Pigett,33, 2819 Ellie Lane is charged with second-degree burglary, Florence County Detention Center bookings reports show.
Police responded to a break in at the Krispy Kreme on Irby Street on Oct. 19 and found that someone had broken the window.

Some cash was taken from the business but no donuts, Raines said.

Pigett remains in custody at the Florence County jail. Bond information wasn’t available.
