Florence County deputies investigate Johnsonville shooting

Florence County deputies are investigating a shooting that took place just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Capt. Mike Nunn said the incident happened at a home on Liberty Street near Johnsonville.

Nunn said a man shot a person at the home multiple times and then fled the scene.

That victim was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries, but no further information was available as to his condition, Nunn said.

Investigators have identified a person of interest in the case and are attempting to locate him for questioning in the case.
