Five-car wreck in Florence causes traffic for shoppers

FLORENCE—An accident involving five vehicles about a mile west of intersection of Palmetto and David McLeod Boulevard in Florence caused some traffic delays this afternoon.

The wreck happened on McLeod Boulevard outside the McLeod Health & Fitness Center around noon as shoppers were traveling in Magnolia Mall and Wal-Mart area.

There did not appear to be serious injuries, but an ambulance and police were on the scene.
