Downtown Florence cleanup effort planned

A downtown cleanup effort will take place in Florence from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The cleanup will include the removal of debris and litter and sidewalk and storefront cleaning.
The effort is being spearheaded by the Florence Downtown Merchants Association with supported being provided by Keep Florence Beautiful and the city of Florence.
