Deputies arrest three suspects in armed robbery

Dillon County sheriff’s deputies have arrested three Dillon men in connection with an armed robbery Thursday night at a business on S.C. 57.

Twenty-year-olds Tabius German and Michael Boatwright Jr. and 18-year-old Demorris Jones each are charged with armed robbery, Dillon County Sheriff’s Capt. Cliff Arnette said.

It happened about 8:15 p.m. at the R&G Hobby Shop when several men, at least two of them armed with weapons, demanded money from the clerk, Arnette said. No one was injured during the crime.
