Dillon County deputies investigate shooting

Dillon County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened Monday afternoon on Sycamore Drive in Dillon, Sgt. Cliff Arnette said.

Deputies found a male juvenile victim with a gunshot wound at the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but there’s no word on his condition.

Arnette said investigators have few details about the shooting, but they are looking for suspects.
