DHEC offers seasonal flu clinics in Lake City

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control will hold seasonal flu clinics from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Oct. 9 at its Lake City Public Health Department, at 137 N. Acline St.

Appointments can be scheduled by calling the health department toll-free at (866) 411-5767.

There is a $25 charge for the vaccination. The health department accepts cash, check, Medicaid or Medicare. You will need to bring your Medicaid or Medicare Part B card with you, if you have one.
