Darlington Police charge six in shooting incident

Darlington Police have charged six people in connection to a shooting that happened on Friday.

Capt. Danny Watson says the incident happened after 5 p.m. Friday, on 409 Guess Street in Darlington, which is near the intersection of US 52 and SC 340.

No one was injured in the shooting incident.

Watson said someone called 9-1-1 after the shooting and reported the suspects’ vehicle description.

Watson said officers with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office later spotted that vehicle on Indian Branch Road, and pulled over the vehicle.

Police charged six people in connection to the shooting- Joshua Reed, Chester Reed, Marvin Frazier, Roger Means, Milton Hunter and Xavier Mungo.

Watson said all six face charges of assault with intent to kill.
