Marlboro County crash victims ID’d

Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown has identified the three people who died in a crash Monday.

Dannie McDonald, 77, of McColl; her daughter, 44-year-old Trinka Tyson of Rockingham, N.C.; and Henry Harrington, 46, of McColl were killed in the crash, Brown said.

McDonald had been driving on S.C. 381 near Oscar Fletcher Road about 1:15 p.m. Monday when the vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree, according to S.C. Highway Patrol reports.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
