Costume Contest highlights Goats and Hogs at Fair

4-H competitors in the Market Goat competition wait for the start of the costume contest judging on Wednesday, October 21, 2009.

Children from 4-H groups all over the Pee Dee gathered at the Eastern Carolina Agricultural Fair for the judging of the Market Hog and Market Goat competitions. In addition to the regular showing the children had the chance to dress their goats and hogs in Halloween costumes.

The Costume contest was won by Hannah Fowler, dressed as Cruella Deville and her goat Wizard Master, dressed as Dalmatian #102. Fowler, a member of the Marlboro County 4-H Horse Club has been showing goats for 2 years.
