Consumer affairs rep to visit Florence

Regional S.C. Department of Consumer Affairs Outreach Coordinator Hugh Crofoot will be in Florence from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 13 handle consumer complaints and questions at the Drs. Bruce & Lee Foundation Library, 509 S. Dargan St.

Those would like to meet with Crofoot are encouraged to bring documentation with them. Crofoot also will have materials available to explain the limitations of debt collectors and how to avoid deceptive practices.
