Bond has been set for a Marion County double homicide suspect under specific conditions, 12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements III said.
Joshua Lee Phillips, 21, of Green Sea is accused of shooting Larry Maltonia Clark and Angelique Diane Bynum to death in September 2007 at the Nichols Nightlife Club, 5646 Kemper Road, then fleeing the area.
Phillips was arrested by Nicholasville (Ky.) police Oct. 14, 2007, after they received information he was in their city, Richardson said.
Bond has been set for Phillips at $250,000, but he must wear an electronic bracelet and be under house arrest upon his release from the Marion County Detention Center, Clements said.
The bond is contingent upon Phillips’ trial not occurring by the end of September. Clements said his office plans to take the case to trial by the end of the September term.
