North Myrtle Beach police arrested a woman after a fight ended when officers say she stabbed a man with a kitchen knife.

It happened early Wednesday morning at an apartment on Cenith Drive, according to a police incident report.

Officers responded to a stabbing call, and found the victim face down outside. The report says he had been stabbed in the chest with what appears to be a kitchen knife.

21-year-old Sophia Lynn Wilson was arrested and charged with assault and battery with intent to kill.

Police say she is also charged with drug possession after officers found hydrocodone in her purse, and no prescription.
