Many former members of the military gathered at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center to honor those who served Tuesday morning.

Members from Rolling Thunder presented a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) flag that now flies underneath the American Flag at the plaza.

Several Veterans spoke about what today means for them, and showed their appreciation for all branches of the military: The U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Coast Guard.

Today’s ceremony concluded with everyone in attendance singing “God Bless America”.
