18 year-old Kristina Lyn Edgar is charged for her role in the May 24th robbery of the Surfside Pizza Hut.

Surfside Police arrested a former restaurant worker for her role in armed robbery.

According to a press release, Kristina Lyn Edgar, 18, and another employee told police they were robbed at gunpoint on May 24th, 2009 at the Pizza Hut located at 1610 Hwy 17 North by two unknown assailants.

During the investigation, information was developed that resulted in the arrest of Edgar on August 10th.

She is charged with burglary 2nd degree (accessory), kidnapping (accessory) and armed robbery (accessory).

The investigation is on going and additional arrests are expected.
